The Cheyenne County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources, and 4-H Youth Programs.

The Cheyenne County 4-H Council is excited to kick off the new 4-H year.

2023-2024 4-H Council Meeting Dates:

  • February 12
  • April 8 (Kit Carson School Flex Area)
  • June 10 (Kit Carson School Flex Area)
  • July 8-Fairground Clean Up
  • September 9
  • October 2 Officer Elections

Meetings are held at the Cheyenne County Community Building Meeting Room starting at 6:30 p.m. (The date, time, and location may change, so please be sure to check the activity calendar and/or newsletter.)
