The Cheyenne County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Programs.

County Wide Activities

  • Club Meetings
    • Happy Go Lucky
      Meetings are held the first Monday of every other month at the Arapahoe Community Church
    • Old Wells
      Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at the Cheyenne County Community Building – Auditorium
    • Sand Creek 
      Meetings are held the last Monday of every other month at the Kit Carson School
    • Clover Kids
      These “meetings” are specifically for the Cloverbuds in Cheyenne County. The meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month in both Kit Carson (town hall) and Cheyenne Wells (meeting room)
  • Project Workdays
  • STEM Classes
    • Open to all youth ages 8 to 13
  • Cloverbud Day Camp
    • Open to all youth ages 5 to not yet 8 (as of December 31st, 2017)
