The Cheyenne County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Programs.

County Wide Activities

  • Club Meetings
    • Happy Go Lucky
      Meetings are held the first Monday of every other month at the Arapahoe Community Church
    • Old Wells
      Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at the Cheyenne County Community Building – Auditorium
    • Sand Creek 
      Meetings are held the last Monday of every other month at the Kit Carson School
    • Clover Kids
      These “meetings” are specifically for the Cloverbuds in Cheyenne County. The meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month at the Cheyenne County Community Building – Meeting Room

    • Open to all youth ages 8 to 13
  • Cloverbud Day Camp
    • Open to all youth ages 5 to not yet 8 (as of December 31st, 2016)
